About the Auction
What is the auction?
The auction is a fundraising and community-building event held
to raise money for the school. It is Hazel Wolf K-8's biggest fundraiser of
the year, and also the biggest party of the year! Funded projects or
programs could include:
• After-school program scholarships
• Classroom teacher grants
• Library support
• Field trips, and more!!
attendance is open to everyone – families, community members, friends,
donors, etc. There will be delicious food, multiple tables of silent auction items, a
dessert dash, games, and a live auction with a professional auctioneer! Tickets are required, and can be purchased on the registration page of this website.
How does the auction work?
items of every type such as jewelry, tools, art, as well as services
(spa packages, hotel gift certificates, gym memberships) and experiences
(weekend getaways, boat rides, family-hosted events) are donated to the school by local businesses and individuals. These items are then
sold on auction night and the proceeds go to support our wonderful
programs at Hazel Wolf.
What is our fundraising goal?
Last year, we raised over $85,000 for school programs. Our goal this year is to raise at least $90,000.
Are auctions only for those with lots of money to spend?
not! There will be a wide variety of items available for all levels of
spending. While fundraising is an important part of the event, it is also a parent social. Please join us for a fun night with other parents (without the kids!) to show
support for our school!
Do I need to dress up?
There is no dress code, people are encouraged to be as dressy as they
would like and highly encouraged to dress to compliment the theme for
this year. DO YOU have a hard hat or bright orange safety vest, or
welding coveralls this year? Don't be shy about wearing them to this
